I read through many links (and conducted queries with my friends) to compile the list below and I hope you find it helpful. Should you need any clarification before rating my answer, please request it and I'll be happy to conduct further research. #1 A film by Monty Python http://www.graphicszone.net/monty_python/Meaning_of_Life.htm #2 "Life has no meaning, other than what you give it." http://www.soulonline.org/life/writings/november/meaning.htm "It's up to you." http://ask.yahoo.com/ask/19981215.html #3 "The meaning of life is to give and receive love and work at something you feel passionate about. qpet, personally, i feel us humans are always wanting to attribute a certain significance (read meaning) to their lives. Some turn to religion, some turn to philosophy, some to other form of assurances. a lot of people fail to wake up to the TRUTHs. Truth #1: The universe couldn't care a git about us humans Truth #2: No one owes us our continued existence Truth #3: There is no need for a "meaning" to Life to exist (its only our ego that makes it so important for ourselves to overrate our own existence) knowing #3 does not mean one has to go through life aimlessly, as a lot of people have stated, you are here now, do something worthwhile with your existence as your existence is likely to be transient. Most people opt for the simple act of continual existence, others help other people out to continually exist, still others try to cull the human race, etc. etc. my point: live your life and stop worrying about things that ain't there. |

"Ultimately, man should not ask what the meaning of his life is, but rather must recognize that it is he who is asked. In a word, each man is questioned by life; and he can only answer to life by answering for his own life; to life he can only respond by being responsible." Victor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning |
