Thanks for your question. It sounds as if you are looking to delete
the terms that come up when you are typing words in the search box for
Google. Below is a solution for that. Or, you could be asking on how
to remove the sites that pop up in the address bar of your browser.
If that is the case, let me know and I can provide the solution for
that as well.
To delete individual words that come up in the Google search term box,
you can simply click your cursor in the search term box, press the
down
arrow until the terms are highlighted, then hit "Delete" or "DEL" key
on your keyboard.
In IE 5:
To turn this option off entirely, go back to TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS,
then ADVANCED. Then scroll down to the line that says "Use inline
Autocomplete". This should be beneath a heading that says "Underline
Links". This will make it so that future search terms won't be saved.
If you are using IE 6:
1. Click "Tools"
2. Select "Internet Options..."
3. Select the "Content" tab
4. Click the "Autocomplete" button
5. In the "Use Autocomplete for" section, uncheck "Web addresses" and
"Forms."
I hope the above is helpful. If you need any additional
clarification, please let me know prior to rating my answer.
