Question ID: 149911
I am working on a project to collect the signatures of every boxer
Muhammad Ali ever fought professionally- Of the 50 fighters Ali faced
I now have 49 signatures- The only fighter whose autograph I am
missing is "Sweet" Jim Robinson- Robinson is a very obscure boxer who
seems to have dropped off the face of planet earth- Robinson's home
base was Miami and almost all his fights were in Florida- Can anyone
help me locate Mr Robinson or an authentic "Sweet" Jim Robinson
autograph? In order to guarantee the authenticity of the signature
would like to have signature on a passport, contract, license or
similar document- Will pay a very generous finders fee-

Dear Flash: I have a source you can try, especially if he's living in
the Toronto Area. Get in touch with Spider Jones (award winning
journalist in the boxing field. Jones is a three time former Golden
Glove Champion and was inducted into the Canadian Boxing Hall of fame
in 1996. Spider was recently voted "Boxing Commentator and M.C. of the
Year" by the Board of Governors for the World Boxing Federation.) This
guy is an encyclopaedia of boxing facts. He works for CFRB1010 in
Toronto.

Dear Guillermo- Happy Sunday morning- Hope all is well- Thanks so much
for your email- Believe it or not Friday morning I finally received
the long sought after Lavorante autograph! In great part I was able to
secure this signature thanks to your help and direction- After many
attempts to reach Alejandro's brother at his garage, we wre finally
directed to Alejandro's sister, Lydia in Mendoza- Lydia was able to
locate Alejandro's passport, one other signature on a newspaper
article and many articles about his career. After negotiating for
several weeks we agreed on a price but were unable to consummate the
transaction- I was able to locate a third party I trusted in Cordoba
and after my check cleared he flew to Mendoza to complete the
transaction- Ironically, I received the passport and the rest of the
package about 3 hours before your email- I was planning to share my
joy with you Friday but I had so many business obligations and matters
to deal with that today was the first chance I had to thank you for
all your help in securing this "holy grail"- The passport and the
Lavorante signature are spectacular and have exceeded my wildest
expectations- As they say in America "WOW"! I am still quite excited
and again thank you for all your help- I hope this email puts a smile
on your face because you have been a wonderful, wonderful partner in
this project- If I can ever help put a smile on your face please feel
free to touch base- Again without your help it is unlikely that I
would have secured this signature- Thanks for all your help and best
of luck in all your future endeavors- Please stay in touch- With
warmest regards and great admiration- Stephen Singer
