It was fascinating to see that photo of our top favourite researchers, Ace and Missy (and of course the Awesome Anlon), at http://www.darkfriends.net/~misc/threesomecanIwatch.jpg (Question 182402) But where are the rest of you? I'm trying to imagine what Pink looks like from http://razoredge.home.sprynet.com/voices01.jpg (Question 183844) but I don't know how much has been left to the imagination. So, let's be having you. Please post a photo or two... | |

Wow!!! I'm a winner?!!! Thanks for choosing my "Killer Kitties" pic. As requested, I'm reposting the link to it, plus an additional pic of me, and one more of a kutie kitty. The Great Meow Massacre http://www.mortalwombat.com/Image/CatAttack.jpg Here's a photo that was taken when I was two years old. I still look very much like this, only bigger: Baby Pink with Pink's Pop http://www.mortalwombat.com/Image/Pink'sBabyPic.jpg And here is Brownie, the world's sweetest, funniest, cutest kitten: A Computer Catnap http://www.mortalwombat.com/Image/Brownie_Snooze.jpg This was a very enjoyable thread! I hope that comments will continue to be posted, since I haven't yet made the acquaintance of all my colleagues, and I find many of their responses to be very entertaining. I'd better sign off now, since the orchestra is playing loud music to drown out my over-long acceptance speech. ;-) Thanks for the enjoyable question, Michael! Best wishes, Pink |

Hi, Michael2 Having seen the pictures provided in the Comments, to date, I am now wondering if there really are any real-life Researchers at all. As a guide: Journalist claims to be Lily Tomlin Tutuzdad claims to be Superman And Pinky claims to be Aceresearcher I am now totally confused Perhaps, it's just the world's most sophisticated computer that's been programmed to answer the questions. Hi Michael! If you don't mind, I'd like to add two pictures to your album. They're a little older, and from *before* I dyed my hair, but I like them better: At Stranleigh Manor (2001) http://www.darkfriends.net/princessmoo/pics/7.JPG At the Toledo Zoo, with two Researcher Wannabes (2000) http://www.darkfriends.net/princessmoo/pics/Birds.JPG My boys are a little older now, but aren't they just the cutest?? --Missy |

Lacking motivation to disillusion anyone I suggest you to imagine myself resembling Daniel Gillespie Clowes' "Lloyd Llewellyn" beatnik-era private detective -- depicted here doing something which looks an awful lot like Domain Name Suggestion Research: Lloyd Llewellyn http://www.fantagraphics.com/artist/clowes/lloydgal/ll3.gif "Look Ernie... I spent three months making this list of titles... there's GOT to be one on here that hasn't been used before!" (And no, I don't dress that well!) |

Nope, sorry. I am fatally allergic to cameras (just ask my boyfriend ... and even he still tries - unsuccessfully). It is my affirmed and stated desire to leave this earth with no photographic record that I was ever here. So far I am doing well, and so your curiosity will have to be unsated in this instance. However, comfort yourself that a photograph would not transmit the reality in any case, and if it did, you really would not want to see it. Cheers, --Byrd |

Well, well. What a shy, retiring lot you all are, I must say. No real live pictures I can actually believe in (except tutuzdad's second one). Are you SURE you're not all virtual researchers? You've passed the Turing test, anyway, even if the program reputed to be Pierce Brosnan hasn't. Michael2 |

Re: Photos of researchers
From: michael2-ga on 02 Apr 2003 03:28 PST |
No, no, you're getting confused. It's quite simple: it's 007 who has the licence, not Pierce Brosnan. 007 is played by PB which is a computer program simulating someone called Probonopublico who is pretending to be Bryan. |

Hi, Again, Michael2 I didn't believe in fairies or angels (except the showbusiness types) until you entered my life, so I don't know how I should address you. However, I fully recognise that I have to be suitably in awe of you as, indeed, I am suitably in awe of the truly Awesome Anlon. Is she also an angel? I ask myself. So, with the greatest respect, Most Awesome One, may I humbly suggest that you should also send a few cases of Virtual Chardonnay to all the deserving ones? For your information, I do believe that the genuine Australian stuff is preferred but, failing that, maybe some of the French substitute which, I am reliably informed, has most probably been grown in Italy or Algeria ... Yours, in awe The Completely Anonymous One |
