I am using my landladies computer and I did a search with google. I
did a search on topics I don't want her to know about and now every
time I enter the first letter of the topics I searched for it shows
what I searched for. For example, if I searched for love, everytime
you type an l for a search it shows that a list of previous searches.
Is this the Microsoft 6.0 or the google site that is doing this. How
do I get rid of it? I tried crearing cookies, temporary internet
files and etc., but it still comes up?

Try this out. Open up your browser, click on tools, then select
internet options. Then select the Content tab and click on
AutoComplete. Uncheck the box for Web addresses and Forms and then
click on Clear Forms and Clear Passwords. Click on OK and you should
be all set.

Following the instructions from pokerpro will clear all entries in the
autocomplete memory. If you just want to delete one particular entry,
try the following:
Type a couple of letters of the word or phrase you wish to delete e.g
in the example above, l for love, in the search box. This will bring
up a list of all words beginning with those letters.
Move your mouse into the search box and then down so that the word is
highlighted.
Press DELETE.
Simple. This will work for almost any text box used by Internet
Explorer.

Hi,

It stores the searches in your index.dat files.

To clear these use a program like Internet Clean Up Pro. (www.pcmesh.com)

Hope this helps!
