Hi Aussie G,

First of all, not all researchers here are males. Some of the best
researchers of this service are females. Second and most importantly,
we should be the one calling you "sir" because you're our customer and
we're here to serve you. Is that fine with you sir? ;-)

Okay sir, now I need to ask you some questions:

Are you looking for shops that sell ready made stainless steel fenders
or would a custom-built one suffice as an answer?

How many do you need? Is it just one pair?

Are you willing to buy online and/or from another country if ever?

Do you have other details to add? If you can tell us more regarding
your requirements, we can be able to give you a more accurate
response. Thank you.

Ready-made Fenders OK
One pair only.
Will buy any place I can find 'em, but Australia more convenient right
now.
Have approx measured existing pair - came up with the following -

Front is - 3˝" straight across x 32" long, measured around the curve.
Rear is - 4˝" Across x 39" long. (Meas. same way).
They both have rolled edges for neat finish, both ends and sides, but
this is not critical at the ends.

One only of each. Thankyou..........G.F.W.

Thanks for making your clarification. So far I have only seen a few
stainless steel fenders based on your initial specifications. A lot of
the "non-plastic" fenders are no-rust alloys and aluminum. Would you
be willing to consider these as well? By the way sir, may I know what
brand of motorcycle are you going to fit these fenders?

Hi Sir,

I'm still waiting for your reply. I worked on your problem for quite a
long while now since you posted this question both online and offline.
Some researchers have also tried but like me, I believe they also
failed to find the exact parts. Based on your given specs, I have
thoroughly searched the Internet for fenders/mudguards that fit your
specifications. Like I said before, I have only seen a few stainless
steel fenders based on your initial specifications and none based on
your clarification. The unfortunate thing is, there are no specs
available as to the dimensions, nor signs that the items are for sale.
The only items I found near your requirements can be found at eBay.com

EBAY ITEMS

BSA Triumph Husqvarna Stainless Steel Fender
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2412479322&category=34284

BSA Triumph Hodaka Stainless Front Fender
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2412672002&category=35623

Wassell BSA Ducati Triumph Fender Set (all-aluminum)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2412585535&category=34284

Triumph BSA Front Fender and Mounting Brackets (no info on metal)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2412580905&category=35607

You can contact the sellers of the items through the contact links on
each page. If you can't find anything that fits your requirement, your
best option is to contact a customizer. Due to your very specific
requirements my search was very restricted. Unless you want to settle
for a customizer and/or tell me what brand of motorcycle you have, I
can't continue my search anymore. There are other manufacturers
specialized in motorcycle accessories that are only made in plastic
and some use plain steel. So far, I have found only one customizer
that is available to produce a pair such as your requirement.

The above limited results are the reasons why I did not post this as
an answer even though I spent a long time to work on this. If you can
respond to the clarifications and add more details, i may continue
searching. If you are willing to settle for the customizer I found as
an answer, then I'll post it as one. Perhaps other researchers can do
better and find the items you need.

Re Id of Motor Bike - It happens to be a Zündapp MC-125.
What the H*** is that?
Well Germany fought two Wars, partly depending on these Bikes in
various iterations.
More lately it was a constant ISDT winner.
The Co. was around for about 80 years.

BUT - None of the above relates in any way to my current request for
S/S Guards.
The Front Tyre is 21" and Guard is fixed to frame. Therefore all dim
are to this spec. and were given previously.
The Rear Tyre is 18" and Guard is fixed to frame. Therefore all dim
are to this spec. and were given previously.
Really, Gents and Ladies, the overall reqs. are simple and to the
point.

Have tried Google, and E-mailed many links. No luck.
Have tried E-Bay and E-mailed many links - Same result for various
reasons.

Will try some at least of links given.

Thankyou for your considerable efforts.

Regards...........Aussie G.

Hello again, and thanks for your reply. By the details you have now,
it is most likely that you can't find a ready made set of fenders that
fits your requirements. Like I said in my clarification, I found a
company that makes customized parts specifically for motorcycles. I've
already sent an inquiry via email regarding this and I'll notify you
as soon as they reply. Please wait and I'll get back to you as soon as
possible. Thank you.

Money will be available as soon as you're ready.

Hi! The reason why I didn't post an answer yet is because I'm still
waiting for the emails of the companies I contacted. I know you need
the fenders asap, but I just can't post an answer without getting a
confirmation. I hope you understand.

Hi aussieg-ga,

I may have a line on a set. I am waiting for a confirmation email.
If the person tells me he has the mudguards with your measurments, I
will officially answer your question. I should know either today or
tomorrow.

If someone else has sufficiently answered your question so that they
should close it, please let us know and I will not answer.

Thanks!,

As per above - Thankyou!

A Little longer in Guard length - OK

But preferably un-drilled better.

Thankyou both for your efforts.
