Google does not index by keywords. It indexes by the text on your web
page. Right now "Irish" appears 5 times in your text, "cottages"
appears two times, and "cottage" appears 5 times, which is great.
However, the word "holiday" does not appear in your text at all. I
recommend that you alter your text slightly (perhaps include something
like "a lovely, serene place for a holiday", etc.) so that your text
includes the word "holiday" a couple of times and the word "holidays"
a couple of times.
Google does not automatically find websites once they are created. It
will usually only find them through one of the following methods:
1) The Webmaster submits the URL to be crawled by the Googlebot;
2) The site is listed in DMOZ / ODP (Directory Mozilla / Open
Directory Project; or
3) The site is linked to by another site which the Googlebot already
crawls and indexes.
**Once you have made the changes to your text**, you can submit your
website to be crawled by Google at:
<://www.google.com/addurl.html>
(Be aware that it may take anywhere from 1 to 3 months for your site
to start showing up on Google; however, since Google also uses DMOZ as
a guide to its indexing efforts, you might be able to speed that up a
little by also submitting your site in a DMOZ category as described
next.)

FIRST: search using keywords that really describe your new
website to find the best category at <http://www.dmoz.org> ,
then once you're on the page for the category you choose,

DMOZ and Open Directory are the same thing, and I've already
registered you there.
Easyspace are your hosting company. Webmaster, bloody silly word, I
know, means the person who actually maintains the website.

Open directory ???? can we lodge more names see steps below eg
In my mind I am trying to establish if this is the key to where people
start looking however I may be off track ,he suggests Europe ,Ireland
,Kerry, Killarney or Kenmare/Sneem/Castlecove /Caherdaniel/Derrynane,
would that be better or more effective if so use all .Could we have
them all ,is it important ??? I simply see where I think a guests
starting point will be sitting in there lounge and planning there
holiday eg He wont say Sneem at the start without some other
preparatory thinking or steps ??.Once the country or destination is
determined as the first step ,Europe then country Ireland, the Ring
of Kerry might be the next key process attract a wider audience
initially than Kenmare or Killarney as it follows after the initial
destination - Ireland, I would imagine and then focussing down to the
other names etc .
' RESPONSES '
DMOZ/Open Directory currently supports only Kenmare or Killarney in
south Kerry. I've submitted you for Killarney tonight. We will have
to see what the editor for that area says - should be OK. The Kenmare
editor is a friend of mine, so no problem there!
The next nearest area in DMOZ is Dingle, and I know already that that
editor won't accept entries for this far south.
I'll make the text changes tomorrow.
