How do I view net pages through one of those portals which doesn’t
register the actual addresses you view e.g. by always having Google in

Hi there,

What you need is a proxy server. There have been many over the years,
and they typically don't last very long. Anonymizer is the best:

Anonymizer
http://www.anonymizer.com/

"Thousands of people have lost their jobs because they weren't careful
about where they surf at work. Even more of us are unwittingly
providing our ISPs with intimate personal details through our web
surfing, which they can turn around and share or sell with anyone.

The Anonymizer I.D. Protection Suite provides two layers of encryption
protection (SSL Encryption and URL Encryption) to shield your Web
activity from your boss, co-workers, ISP or other untrusted network."

Other similar services are listed in the Google Directory:

and free services...
