Dear Sokowicz,
Rare Recordings, Press Kits, Clips, etc.
========================================
Esprit, EIL.com specialise in "New, Rare, Collectable, Used & Hard To
Find CDs, Vinyl Records, Rare CD singles, Picture Discs, Rare Vinyl,
12", 7", Limited Editions, Promos, Imports, Albums & Music Memorabilia
from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s & 2000s ". They have several rare Eminem
collectors' items <http://eil.com/shop/artistlist.asp?artistname=eminem>.
Another good source for music rarities, with a good selection of
Eminem stuff, is Energy Music <http://www.energy-music.com/>. Matt's
CD Singles <http://www.mattscdsingles.com/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Eminem_152.html>
have similar offering.
Polar Bear has several promotional CDs
<http://www.polar-bear.co.uk/pbolmainfr.php?seshid=b42096ab843d3775b2366faf361fc036>,
and Music Express <http://www.musicexpress.com/bin/nph-main/DABwW9cdsnJ1.b>
also have some rare recordings, alas much fewer, and they drown among
"regular" stuff.
Particularly hard-to-find rare music, including bootlegs, might be
found at Music Stack http://www.musicstack.com/search/eminem.html -
which consists of indirect connection between music fans. Similarly
Fannis Collections <http://www.fannins-collectables.com/html/eminem.htm>
have some Eminem rares.
Lost Archive *might* have some rare Eminem recordings:
Lost Archives
Customer Care: 1 (800) 554-2237 9am-6pm (Pacific Standard)
PO Box 124925 / San Diego, CA 92112
(I write *might* because the site is not alive and I presume that
because a cached version of their Website features EMINEM: The Lost
Anthology 93-03 Five disc collectors set
http://216.239.53.104/search?q=cache:qMrrJS-y5k8J:https://www.lostarchives.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc%3FScreen%3DPLST%26Store_Code%3DLA+%22Rush+Ya+Clique%22+eminem+rare&hl=en&ie=UTF-8).
Several sites offer bootlegged versions, or CDR versions of Eminem
albums (including "Soul Intent". An original sealed tape was recently
sold in eBay at $1,025
<http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2548219115&category=20825>).
Be careful whom you send your money to.
This is not, as you might know, strictly legal (and therefore I cannot
link to these sites). Such sellers appear sometimes in lists such as
alt.music.eminem <http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&group=alt.music.eminem>
alt.music.bootlegs <http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&group=alt.music.bootlegs>
rec.music.hip-hop <http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&group=rec.music.hip-hop>
8-Mile Props
============
Since you have mentioned that you browsed through eBay, I'll only
mention that Startifcast sell "EMINEM "8 MILE" SCREEN WORN OUTFIT
DISPLAY" <http://www.startifacts.com/>.
The Prop Store has several 8-Miles props: Brittany Murphy's Necklace
and costumes, and Yellow and Red Nightclub Flyer
<http://www.propstore.co.uk/list.php?cat_id=8&pos=&num_display=10&view=0&ob=mov&movs=407>
Despite not finding any particular Eminem/8-Mile stuff in Movie Bits
<http://www.moviebits.co.uk/> I recommend this store for further
searches, they have good inventory.
Other Products
==============
8-Mile script - http://www.scriptshack.com/
8-Mile film cells -
There are two @ Infinitely Better:
http://www.infinitelybetter.com/index.cfm/page/Productmemo/prodid/1201/head/15/cat/15/productzone/Filmcels
And one @ Memorabilia Store
http://www.memorabilia-store.com/limitededitionfilmcellse1.html ; The
Memorabilia Store also has autographs.
I hope that answers your question. My search strategy included search
of the web for various versions of :
- Eminem and words such as "rare" "bootleg" "memorabilia" "collectors
item"
- Names of Eminem rarities, such as "Soul Intent"
- "8 mile" and "props"
- A browse through general collectors'/props sites.
If you need any further clarifications, please contact me before you
rate the answer. |

Dear politicalguru,
now checked ALL links and only find one -for me-interesting thing(
http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=177828 ).
What exactly do you mean with "This is not, as you might know,
strictly legal (and therefore I cannot
link to these sites)." what isnīt legal?
to this link ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2548219115&category=20825
)i can only say....i allready talked to the seller cause 1025$ is too
much(maximum is 500$ on the marked),and he told me "piss off" ;)
PS:Can you search for many more items( like
http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=177828 )or do you want to
get more money, and if how much?
Thanks.

Dear Sokowicz,
"Not strictly legal" - I meant by that, that bootlegs, or unofficial
recordings, that do not protect the artist's copyrights are not
exactly legal.
Soul Intent tapes - the only ones I found were on CDR (Like this one:
"EMINEM ULTIMATE 5 CDR SET"
This tape, as an original, is not easy to come by, since there were
not many copies sold.
More recordings:
---------------
http://store.yahoo.com/palleyd/eminem.html - "30 BRAND NEW Sealed
PROMO Cassettes "Eminem - Snippets from the Forthcoming Slim Shady
LP". Copyright 1998 by Interscope Records. This is a rare promo
cassette that contains excerpts from 5 songs: My Name Is, 0:54 Just
Don't Give A F**k, 1:21 Brain Damage 1:20 Guilty Conscience 1:11 Still
Don't Give a F**k. 1:35"
http://www.hyper-music.co.uk/hiphop.html - "Eminem Stan (rare UK
2-Trk "Universal" official promo-only CD-R featuring Dido incl. 5:26
radio edit & 6:43 clean version in title sleeve)"
http://www.musicfringe.com/store/eminem/index.html - several
offerings.

Collectibles of all sorts.
The eBay guy - what could I say, it's his right to sell it in $1,000
minimum price, as long as someone is willing to buy. As you saw, it is
a rare item in its original version. By the way, according to eBay
Terms of Service, he is not allowed to make deals with you outside the
eBay auction, which was set at minimum price of $1,000 to start with.
My best advice for you is to be a regular at eBay and maybe also
Amazon Auctions/Z-Shops, where originals would turn up. You could also
search Froogle (www.froogle.com) for keywords such as "eminem" and
"rare", "collectibles" and of course "soul intent".

Thanks at first. But do you find nothing for
http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=177828 ?
to "The eBay guy - what could I say, it's his right to sell it in
$1,000
minimum price, as long as someone is willing to buy. As you saw, it is

i can only say that nobody is willing to buy,its a fake account, cause
it also bid on all his other auctions. But it isnīt my prob ;)
and to "By the way, according to eBay
Terms of Service, he is not allowed to make deals with you outside the
eBay auction, which was set at minimum price of $1,000 to start with."
I can say,itīs my right to ask for a lower price, but it isnīt my right
to ask for a deal outside eBay,and i wouldnīmake a deal outside ebay.
Regards.

Dear Sokowicz,
I couldn't find any shop that currently have an Eminem gold record on
stock. However, these might have some in the future:
<http://www.primeaumusic.com/gold_records.htm>
<http://stores.musictoday.com/store/default.asp?band%5Fid=82&sfid=2>
<http://gja.com/BEBOPS/mainview2?select=Gold_Records>
Regarding your other question, the pricing of collectibles, such as
the gold albums you saw in the UK sites varies and depends:
(1) On how popular (potentially) this collectible is.
(2) On how much potentially, people would pay for it
(3) On how rare it is
(4) On the "gut feeling" of the salesperson regarding pricing.

Hey,
I send an e-mail to "http://www.ukmusicawards.co.uk/dance2.html" and
asked for:
Hello,
I want to know if the
EMINEM - CLEANING OUT MY CLOSET - Platinum in silver aluminium frame -
Ģ130.00
EMINEM - My name is Slim Shady -- PLATINUM -- Ģ110.00
EMINEM - HI! My name is Slim Shady - PLATINUM --Single--Ģ65.00
Are the onlyiest one in the world,or if there are more(ond if how
much?).
They answered:
Hello
We are a company which produce inhouse awards for fans.
We only use original product and each is produced individually .
Usually the maximum of any presentation, over a period of time will be
5 (Usually 2 or 3)
These are not BPI awards, which were originally presented to the
artists
These are the only 3 we have at present.
Regards
Pete
I want these BPI awards, and not any awards, that somebody produce.Do
you know where i can get these?!Also if they do NOT offer Eminem
awards?!
Thanks.
