Question ID: 3153
how do I find either a design,or how to design,an eductor/ejector to generate a
vacuum, given 9 feet of water head, and an 8" water exit pipe,3feet long exiting
the bottom of the wall,at the floor, but in the wall(horizontal) of the tank of
9' water. the water is constantly refilled, and stays at 9'. The vacuum must be
at least 4-5' of water, and at as high a volume as possible, given the 8" pipe.
8" pipe can be made longer, but not shorter;eductor must fit inside standard 8"
ductile iron flanged pipe

Hello icehouseman,

Due to how long this question has been in the system, I will ask for
clarification and also make sure you still want an answer.

If I refer you to a few shematics and drawings of eductors in
practical use, and add some tips on how to alter some of the basic
designs to fit your requirements, would that be suffice?

If not - what exactly do you need, and what is the desired end result?

Thanks for the clarification -

SgtCory
