Can you pick out the model from this page - I'm not sure whether its
there or not.

I assume yours is a 4 series, and this page shows the latest (7
series).  This page does show their specifications, perhaps you could
match to a to a newer model.  If this suits your question, please tell
me, and I will repost as an answer.

the toyota page is no help. I have searched and not found any
referrence site to tell me how old the machine is. It is a gasoline
sit down lift. Wanting to find how much it will lift. There is no
specification plate

The naming convention for Toyota forklifts seems
to indicate that the last number(s) is the lifting
capacity in hundreds of kilograms, so a 4FGC14
should have a lifting capacity of 1400 kg or
around 3000 pounds (1.5 tons) or so.

F seems to stand for Forklift
G seems stands for Gas

Oh yeah, search strategies were:

based on the bobby_d and bullis clarifications
that indicated that the used market was where
to search.

It was only after looking at the listings on:

http://cat.workingwheels.com/ 

that I figured out the naming conventions.

I then searched on:

used toyota forklift FG14

after I realized there were more FGxx models than
FGCxx models, and found the year of manufacture.
