While Crabcakes' answer wasn't exactly what I was looking for, it got
me close enough (and gave me the applicable terminology) that I was
able to find the appropriate device myself.

You had a lot of good information. I wasn't so much looking for ways
to reduce or increase my cholesterol levels, which was a majority of
the info provided. Just looking for whether low HDL coupled with low
LDL could be a problem. This link you provided:

it was a hard question with no real 'answer' that could have been
pluked out of a website somewhere, so all in all, could not really
expect more.

crabcakes gave me a good understanding of both sides with the detailed
descriptions of the dating methods and explained pretty clear
arguements for both sides.  the only thing i was disappointed in was
the lack of specific instances or findings for/against evolution.
