Hello again, Crabcakes, and thank you for responding! As was true with
your previous response, this one is an enormous help.  We have made –
with my brother, of course, and sister – the decision to go to Dana –
Farber and it is a relief now to have a plan to follow.
My brother said that Dr. De Angelo wants to look at the blasts more
closely and get a better count. They are going to work for a month and
a half to get it lower. If it goes to under 10 (it is at 10 now but I
don’t know how exact the measure is since they want to look at it
again) , they say 5 – 10, they’ll try a mini-transplant. They are
starting him on a drug which he called “vitasia” (but I can’t find and
think is an error) and which he’ll be taking for a month by injection.
In the meantime, they’ll be looking for a donor.
Everything is so clear and complete that I need no clarification. I am
glad you are out there and really appreciate your “committing”
yourself to helping advise – something doctors are (and I understand
why) reluctant to do. I also think your last bit of advice – about how
to treat my brother is very important. Thank you with all  my heart!

Good research.  I have heard that a majority of the population have
symptomfree viruses example hpv or cold sores that could be passed on
from skin/skin contact such as genital/genital or feet/feet.  Do you
think these gels would be a good supplement for preventing
transmission of these invisible viruses for instance rubbing on the
feet before entering a sauna or applying around the mouth before
kissing?  Which gel do you think is the best of the ones that exist?
