The researcher has clearly put a huge amount of effort into his/her
attempt to provide evidence of what the link between the Drake
expedition bark captain George Fortescue and the eponymous bay. Whilst
not conclusive, the association is compelling, and I am more than
happy to accept it as an answer!

The researcher uncovered some Russian work that I was unaware of. In
the context of the english documentation readily available on the
internet I am satisfied with my answer.

I was a little disappointed in the findings as I had hoped to find a
little bit more information than is available from English Heritage,
the Government agency, and find out a little about some of the values
that EHs criteria have
formalised and the discourse about comparative values.
