Many thanks. You've managed to pull out quite a bit that I hadn't
been able to find in my scouring of the net. A lot of overlap, but
very nice new stuff.

Don't worry, I'm not planning on competing. I hold no illusions of
ever producing anything novel. Mostly, I'm just fascinated by IEC and
in particular, the ICC effect described by Bussard and just want to
play around with it.

Again, many thanks!

Thanks for your help. FYI The reason for my question is that in fire
alarm systems' engineering with respect to visual appliances strobes
are located within a room based upon the equation that I provided. The
minimum light intensity allowable for any point in the room is .0375
lumens /sq ft. If it can be demonstrated that the sum of two light
sources is greater than the minimum, fewer strobes can be used to
provide coverage. However, my efforts are probably just an exercise in
academics. When talking with a local fire alarm plan review engineer,
he asked me,"what if the person was facing away from the strobes?" Is
the light intensity less when it flashes on the back of ones
head...?!?
Thanks again.

Good answer, not supurb, but good. You covered the bases. The
preprint server xxx.lanl.gov quant-phys shows the exponential increase
in interest in practical applications of entanglement via quantum
computing and quantum communications. I don't think we understand yet
what is going on. Abstract Hilbert space just does not subsitute for
solid principles and good experimental design. Thank you all for your
comments and answer(s).

Thanks very much for your prompt answer. The 10 year old female I work

All of these responses provide excellent, useful information. Right
now, this question was anticipatory, since we are still unsure of the
format in which the database will be provided, but using these
answers, we will be better able to deal with it, no matter what.
Thanks, all.
