I can't believe I didn't think of the search strategy! But that's a

Thanks for the help.  I had called Brother and they told me that
drivers for my printer were not supported by or through Windows 2000. 
Also, thanx for the tip about un-installing the old drivers.  It was
very hard but works great now!!!!

Thanks, I guess that's a great answer for what I was paying. :-)  I'd
like to have heard more about the reputation of the maker and the
collectability of the instrument.
