Very comprehensive answer on everything you need to do to get accepted
by a search engine but overwhelming. Tried to get a claraification or
a little more specific answer but not even a reply saying "you need to
do it all" or whatever so 4 stars instead of 5. They should at least
acknowledge receipt of the request.

Very poor - I asked about Motion Tablet PC's that are actually in
stock and received litings for other tablet pc's (ie: tiger direct -
which does not have Motion and Computer Geeks. Extreme is one possible
answer but does not really have them in stock.  What about InfoCater?

Thank you for your prompt and informative response. My limited
research actually came up with the same links you suggested. The cards
I'm interested in were published without a copyright, which leads me
to think they are in the public domain, irregardless of The Museum's
collection. They may retain a right to reproducing their copies but
not to the cards found "at large". I am however contacting a copyright
lawyer just to make sure. Thanks again

if my site has been black listed or penalized in any way by Google? As
I did use 'Link Partner' some time ago (Not anymore). If my site has
been penalized how long will it last?

The answer was very thorough and detailed.  Some of it was a repeat of
information we already knew (cut/paste from google, as we said in the
question we were familiar with those rules).  The information from the
Link: tool was not valid, there were additional links to the
TechSmiths site.

I appreciate the information about the 301 re-direct, and will
implement that as soon as I can figure out ***HOW***.  It was not your
responsibility to tell me how under this question, this is just a
"whine" for the record.  IIS 5 makes a 301 redirect VERY difficult
unless you're going to redirect an entire site.  We can't see how to
do a redirect of *.phoenixoptions.com to the other site while NOT
forwarding anything else.

We've done the alt tags, we've made the links html instead of
javascript.  We're looking for ways to make the site linked from
outside (it IS and was then listed on DMOZ by the way).  My biggest
problem with this answer is that it will take 3 weeks to 3 MONTHS to
find out if it's right.  Isn't there some way to crawl the site to see
what google sees so we can know if there is a technical problem?

Anyway, you pointed out valid issues, and we're working to resolve
them.  Satisfactory answer.  More information about how to do the 301,
and how to know if google can sucessfully crawl a site would have been
more helpful.

Researcher went far beyond expectation in answering the posed

The Clarification the Researcher sent me solved my problem. I scanned
through the information and found that I was producing one long line
of text and this was not allowing the feature in Outlook Express to
take hold. For example I was typing kkkkkkklllllllllooooo across the
page from the left margin to the right. There were no spaces in
between. Testing it this way is not the way a person normally types.
When a person normally types there are spaces between letters. Once I
typed normally to the end of the first line the wrap feature took
effect and it went to the second line and the third and suceeding
lines automatically. In essence I was producing one long unbroken line
of text. Thanks so much for solving my problem. I included a 10.00

I recognize this was a complex situation. You made it clear that
Google has a rule against it, but it seemed unlikely to me that this
situation (several Web sites linking to my site) would cause me
problems with search engines. Thanks for your efforts. Sorry for the
