Thanks Serenata. Guess what? I had believed all of these -- even the
Mark Twain 'quotes'. And these are probably the tip of the iceberg.Oh

Thanks very much. I finally got rid of Virtual Bouncer with the help
of CodeStuffStarter in conjunction with
http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_index.htm. I'm not sure exactly
what I got rid of that also rid my system of "VB" but it hasn't
returned since I did a thourough check of just what exactly was
running on my system (much more than what shows in task manager). My
issue with "VB" was that I would take it out of Add/Remove programs
and Startup folder over and over and over, but it would keep
returning. For help on this I wouldn't have gone to their site on a
bet since they are obviously up to no good. I definitely did not get
it on my system though any licence agreement thoughtlessly agreed to
without reading first. It is more insidious than that.

Thanks for your answer. I clarified my question and hopefully will get
an answer. I have alot of faith in the Google researchers.

Solid advice given to a newbie on some difficult issues concerning
Google and PR. Not everything I asked was specifically answered - but
unless you're a Google insider, there's no way to know for sure what
the correct answers really are, so I'm giving 5 stars. [note to
Serenata - I applied to DMOZ in early June and my site was added on
June 16 to their directory, but my site has since been dropped for
some reason. I'm going to try to get in touch with the category editor
to find out why. As a result, my site is no longer linked to by
YoungPip and Afghan News, both of which are DMOZ directories.]
