web site hosting on my computer

The researcher used language I could understand. The internal links to additional products they mentioned was a great help. |

How long should I wait for an answer before I close it?
Category: Miscellaneous Rating and comments by: lfobarri-ga |
Thanks and I understood the mechanics of answering question. The researcher put effort to answer this question. But it is a pity. He tried to answer this irrelevant question and cheap one, while many others more crucial, important and expensive are not answer because there is a competition among users to market the questions using techniques to grab attention of researchers. I noticed the there is not a sincere service here. Anyway, it is a interesting service of Google and I understand that the reseachers are NOT able to answer difficult questions. |

Dual processor servers: How do they work?
Category: Computers > Hardware Rating and comments by: respree-ga |
Wow! That was much more information than I was expecting. Very thorough, well written answer. The reason I was asking was because I was running 'top' the other day and noticed while my perl scripted awstats log analyzer was running, the CPU usage was 99%. Granted, it only ran for 30 seconds or so, but I was wondering if all my website visitors felt our website was sluggish during that period. (no need to answer or comment). Thanks very much again for your excellent work. |

Learn more about .AVI files and the amount of space they can take.
Category: Computers > Graphics Rating and comments by: al_crystonixsw-ga |
First, my apologies for the delay in rating this answer. I was pulled away for several weeks. Now for my comments on the answer...Fantastic! I think I'll have some other related questions that come from your answer, but I'll post them separately. The detail was excellent. The reference to DivX was too. And I appreciate the fallbacks of MPEG1, etc. All in all, a great job... |

adding SCSI hard drive to SCSI chain
Category: Computers > Hardware Rating and comments by: paternostrum-ga |
I understand SCSI-ID and termination and that is not the problem. However I have never heard that the boot drive must be ID-0 and the secondary drive ID-1. I am out of the country right now but will try this when I get home and let you know. Thanks. |
