Perfect -just what I wanted.

The reason for asking is that Toby Young's new bestseller, "How to
Lose Friends and Alienate People" contains an incident in which Toby
claims that when he was on the Circle Line in July 1995, a German
tourist named Klaus was felled by a "rumored" sniper. Toby's account
in an otherwise good book had the stench of extreme "authorial
license" as it was very unlikely that he was on the same boat for such
a freak incident, and so I wanted some documentary evidence of the
actual date to send to him/ his publisher for a correction. Thanks for
your help.

Good answer but it is not correct.  I submitted "pipe" as my answer it
came back as incorrect.  I am going to recehck my math for the prolems
which led to the "15009166" number & repost.  Thanks for the help.

Well done. The only thing I would request additionally is a list of
search terms (I'm not sure how much of this came from your own
knowledge base, and how much you were able to divine through
research)- Normally I'm not the type to ask the magician how he sawed
that lady in half, but how else am I gonna learn?

Excellent.  Thanks much juggler-ga.  I highly recommend the story (it
came to mind when I was watching the new "Reign of Fire" movie that
deals with a nasty plague of dragons creating a disutopic 2020).

Informative, thorough answer. I had run across the same case in my
research but didn't make the connection.

What an interesting resource!  It wasn't exactly what I had in mind
for a couple of reasons: it's based on a science fiction author's
concept of related characters and events, and it's hard to tell how
comprehensive it is.  Those things aside, the reference definitely
answers the question and it's a darn good place to start.  I'd be
interested to see if others have other resources that I could use.

dogs too and thought that Kimora's dog was a Schipperke, but upon
closer evaluation i think you are right own (and verified!) with your
answer. The additional links you provided were EXCELLENT. Exactly what

This is a good answer.  I'll be the first to admit my question was
