Great answer and truly appreciate the manual labor involved in looking
through a series of books for brief quotation.  Just wish all books
were electronic to speed up the information retrieval.

Thank you so much for addressing my concerns so well. I feel so in the
dark. It would have been helpful for google to provide a forum for us
askers of the questions to discuss stuff with the researchers as a
collective group. I'm so in the dark. I've obsessed like a madman for
a couple of years now and realize my tools aren't up to my task in any
reasonable timeframe. This service has arrived as a godsend. But I
don't know how to work with the researchers so that we can act as a
team. If I knew which questions no one cares for, I could set them
aside so no one wastes a moment of their time. I'd like to be a
quarterback & pass those questions to those researchers who like
certain subjects. This tiny band are my new heroes, helping me present
an older generation of heroes and master musicians & sports figures.
But thanks to your good advice, I'll re-post the present questions
when they expire and add about 30 more in the next 3 days. In another
place,I tell you which ones. I think it was a comment for Ipolyi. You
can discontinue your searching on the older ones you're stuck on,
luciaphile, and attack the new ones or the older ones if they have any
attraction for you. I will read the stuff you called to my attention
to on how to ask better questions. I'm somewhat limited in I can only
present the people I can find myself. I have a ton of amazing people
but I already have them finished! I'm VERY relieved to hear that my
unanswered questions are still being looked at! I have no way to tell.
So far, I have 20 clean matches since Nov.20, that I couldn't find
after many months. So I'm well satisfied so far.(and you have 10!).
I'm sorry you can't slow down for Christmas(wink). If anything at all
might help you, please do not hesitate to ask. I will do whatever I

Thanks for your help. The answer(s) you gave were pretty much what I
found; the reason I was confused was the guy who said the comedian
played locally was the owner of the comedy club! So, I can only assume
he meant Azaria or Collins.

making a study of every researcher input. I'm trying to study your
techniques as a professional researcher. You use so many tools! It's a
bewildering array. But I will learn from you. A researcher is only as
good as their tools and you seem to possess more than any other. Do
you use reference books often? I'm so in awe of your skills that I
can't do you justice. All I know is you're cleaning up my list that
I'm still working on after 2 yrs. So you obviously are aware of more &

turned on to the Latter Day Saints database. I used it for my database
& found 9 hits on searches that I never posted. So thank you for

100 sports writers, 100 misellaneous sports & entertainment figures
all at once. When I stall on one, I move on to another. I done over
2,000 in the last 2 yrs. since I finally got a computer. It's taken me
over & I'm obsessed. You remind me of me. Can I ask you a question?
Are you a professional researcher? It's hard to imagine you coming
