Hi leli, Yes, I am still trying to process my leads, and where successful, I believe in crediting those who gave their time to supplying those valuable leads. But it is slow going, this research. So thank you so very, very much for all your time on my behalf. Your skills are superp. My questions have now dwindled to so few. If any look doable to you, I still need help & can often turn such innocent tips as middle names, where someone lives presently, a birth date without a yr. or visa versa into a sucessful answer, and credit them. My best regards for all your kind and invaluable help, leli. bluestreak |

"MOVIE STARS BIRTH RELIGION OR RELIGIONS?
Category: Arts and Entertainment > Movies and Film Rating and comments by: gingin-ga |
Good thorough answer. Useful resources. Thank you, Subject: Re: "MOVIE STARS BIRTH RELIGION OR RELIGIONS? Answered By: leli-ga on 23 Jan 2003 15:42 PST Hello Richard Gere was born into a Christian, church-going family. First of all I found this from an interview he gave about Tibet and Eastern religion: "I think the Christian religion that I was brought up with has very little to do with Christ, really, and more on institutions that have built up around the church." "Dreams of Tibet" Interview with Richard Gere in "Frontline" http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/tibet/interviews/gere.html Then I found that his parents sang in their church choir: "They called him Dick in the middle-class suburb of Syracuse, New York, where he grew up in the same tract house that his Anglo-Irish parents live in today. His father was an insurance agent, his mother a plump housewife; both sang in the church choir. Dick was in the Key Club, the varsity club, the band, the boys' glee club, and the choir. He was vice-president of the student council for two years. He played piano, banjo, guitar, and trumpet. He was also a star gymnast." "Even Richard Gere gets Dumped", by Michael Gross Originally published in the July, 1995 issue of Esquire Magazine http://www.mgross.com/profiles/gere.htm Thank-you for an interesting question. Please let me know if the answer needs any clarification and I'll do my best to help. Regards - Leli searches with: "Richard Gere" religion family childhood church Great answer, good resources, good online communication. Thank you Comments There are no comments at this time. |

Great Answer. Provided MANY useful links. Excellent value. I hope Google Answers can maintain the "SPIRIT" and "Enthusiastic" attitude of the researchers by continued use of whatever screening process has been used so far. |

I am totally amazed and delighted with the speed and detail of your response. I used the phrase(which I remembered)on a card on the death of my wife, and I am getting a lot of calls asking where I found such an appropriate line for a Scottish lady. (The card also had a nice little picture of a thistle) |

QUESTION FOR LELI-GA +ONLY+
Category: Miscellaneous Rating and comments by: kongulu-ga |
GREAT VALUE FOR THE INVESTMENT. I find the service a useful tool to evaluate the throughness of my research, at a reasonable cost. With the advantage that sometimes little infogems are discovered. This is a great service I hope it will scale well. One important issue going forward will be maintaining the quality and attitude of the researchers. |
