Prompt and thorough reply.  Well organized answer.  I'm curious if the
Oxford English dictionary would offer any additional details?  We have
one of their 17? volume sets in our local library.  I'm just wondering
about the "researching" aspect i.e. are Internet sources replacing one
of the "granddadies" of reference materials?
Also, I wish my question included something about the usage of the
term i.e. is it increasing, decreasing or changing in any mesurable
way.  But that's a different and probably more difficult question to
frame for asking.  I'm new to GA and trying to understand how it
works.  Pretty good from your answer!  Thanks, Liberty

WOW!! This was my very first question here in Google Answers and I
must say that I am trully impressed!! Thank you so much thx1138-ga!!

Also, I want to thank peskyeskie-ga for his INCREDIBLE addition to
this question by showing us a completely new way to use LUMINOL!!! (I
HAD NO IDEA it could be use in such an amazing way on the spinal
cord!!) Good luck in all the experiments and please let us know more
about it!!

Last, but not least, I also want to thank polygeek-ga for that superb
explanation of the "official" chemical name for Luminol & the cool

Thank you for answering my question.  I read the Solonor link and
reread the first few pages of Anastasia Krupnik by Lois Lowry. Taken
together I found the whole very humorous and entertaining.  The
underage drinking that got the book pulled from bookselves in an
elementary school in Wisconsin cosisted of this quote from the book
speaking of her father,"Sometimes he read his poems to Anastasia by
candlelight and let her take an occasional (very small) sip of his
wine."  I think people who complain about that and classify it as
underage drinking really need to get a life!  Thank you for helping me
by finding what I didn't find on my own.  I'm in a bookclub which is
meeting tonight to discuss banned/challenged books.  We have been
asked to bring thr reasons for the banning or challenging.  Now I can
do that. Thanks again.
