Fantastic answer.  Exactly what I wanted to hear.  I can't tell you
how useful this is to hear.  I've posted a number of questions on
google-answers and this has been the most useful answer I've received.
 When I get back from holiday I'll be implementing many of these
suggestions.  Thanks again to ld-cdc and snapanswer for great comments
as well.

I just went back and checked my Tivo and I vote for the sliding glass
theory. I can see the paper busting through the glass, so I don't
think it is an assisant's hand. There is a move in there that looks
consistant with the glass sliding back after he goes through it.

I don't take 5 star for granted. This person zeroed right in on my
problem and helped a lot. Very fast turnaround on the follow up too. I
got two answered for the price of one.

From baab-ga!  (47651)  It worked almot first time I tried it!  One q:
in the css file screen.css I was given left=20 (perfect) and top = -20
(pixels) to use; to get the lil file over on to the big file, i had touse
 top = -380! (not -20)  its as if the origin is not at top left o the big
file but rather the bottom left! no matter, i just played with "x,y" til

This answer didn't dig up any nuggets, and in fact, it overlooked some
things -- a friend of mine pointed me to several other good links that
weren't in this answer.   Ultimately buying this google answer hasn't
saved me any time or found any treasures.

Yes, that's exactly it! "Counter-Clock World." Now that I see the
author is Philip K. Dick, I can't imagine why I remembered it as a
less-stellar figure. "Ubik" also sounds like an interesting book that
I'll look into. Good work, j philipp-ga! (Why are we all
_Georgians_???)

Thank you - great stuff!  The problem that I have with collaborative
filtering is that there are no random connections (or variation).  I
am still waiting for the random Amazon recommendation :) - but I guess
that kind of defeats the purpose!
