the researcher did a basic search which I had alredy done.  I was
hoping for a littler more agressive response. If I was equiped enought
to find this web location I would be equiped enought to find the
information he provided.  The search was very limited.

Dear tutuzdad-ga: Magnificent answer! You are exactly the right person
to respond. My questions are a good example of the layman thought
process, which typically is badly skewed from the real world of
professionals.(That statemrnt applies to countless areas.)
  Your answer goes into great detail about the precautions taken to
ensure authenticity. Nonetheless, I have a nagging feeling that there
could easily be a disconnect between digital images and objective
reality. What if the digital image submitted originally had been
previously altered prior to submission to authorities? In other words,
fake evidence that could be treated with care and respect? For what
it's worth, I am ultraconservative and not government-conspiracy 
minded.
