The device you've found should be perfect - I've actually just been down to check the TV; it has a composite input so this will do nicely, and will come in handy in future as well I suspect. Thanks. |

For Feilong Only
Category: Miscellaneous Rating and comments by: maxmaxwell-ga |
The researcher provided me with a new direction to search for the tool that I needed to complete the repair on my car. He also presented the option of replacing the Timing belt by conventional means with out using special tools. Although the Link pointing towards the Tool manufacturer in the UK proved to be unfeasable, but only because its overseas, its only fair to acknowledge that I didn't specify Continental USA only. The Phone numbers and Addresses of the Other Tool Distributers was what broke the case. I was able to call these places directly and talk to their Sales Reps. The guy at mytoolchest.com didn't have the part but he had the phone number of the people who made the Timing Peg for Ford, OTC. I called OTC was routed within the company to a very knowledageable person who knew exactly what I needed and how to get the tool to me on a timely mnanner. I believe the secret to getting a problem solved based upon my experience this week, is to not stop searching even if the first contacts can't help. The guy at mytoolchest at first wanted to hang up but I kept him on the phone until he gave me the phone number of his supplier. Overall I ma satisfied with the work the researcher provided. |

feilong-ga: Thank you kindly for your research! It is great to finally know the font, as it is something I've been trying to find for quite a while. It's unfortunate that the font is not available for free, but I realize that this is out of your control and it certainly does not diminish the quality of your answer. Thank you for your help! |

computer
Category: Computers > Graphics Rating and comments by: paulapaula-ga |
Feilong, thank you. Sorry I didn't reply immediately, but it was night when you sent this. The company is helping me; they explained they associated BitMap with Paint (for editing frames) because most computers have it, but I can change association and it is what I did. The problem is solved 70% now. I have got CoffeCup gif animator, yet Zoner offers more possibilities. When I click on edit fraame, the frame opens in PhotoIMpact7, which is cool. The only tiny problem is that I don't know how to switch back to Zoner. When I tried the trial version ( always Zoner) the editor was Paint, it opened in a smaller window and when finished, I had my edited frame. Then it stopped working; I had Paint re-installed by a technician but there is, apparently, a link-association missing. I can use PhotoImpact as image editor, no problem but for the little glitch I named above. Thank you for the help and for the useful links. Paula |

Thank you for the rapid and exhaustive answer. I have reinstalled EyeBrowse and the images open. I can't understand why the comp didn't use one of my other imageviewer programs, but this is another question. I am satisfied, fully, and solved my problem. Regards, Paula Grenside |
