The answer told me the fact that most newsgroup archives are deceptive
in that they do not list the complete conversational thread because
people can request  their postings to be excluded. In this respect,
the answer is a disappointment - although realistic.

Thanks again Tisme for your advice.  I believe my computer is running
fine now and consider the issue resolved.  I also agree with you about
the new error message.  I believe they have more to do with certain
types of ads I'm blocking than the actual webpage I'm visiting.

Very good. Thanks for your clarificaions but that is all I can absorb without 
experimenting. If I will have further questions thereafter I can only hope
that you or somebody as knowlegable will answer.

Lindows does not seem to be ready for prime time as yet despite it's claims.

Well, I can't fault your research, even if the answer doesn't feel
very satisfying.  I'm actually leaning toward adopting nautico's &

Tisme's work is through, speedy, and the answers concise.  I would
like to have a full video clip of the commercial, who wouldn't; and,
Tisme indicates that I might yet have more with which to work. I
consider myself web-wise and yet I had very poor success with the
jingle.  Considering the tools and effort that I used and the result
that I had, I feel qualified to say that Tisme did an excellent job.

whom? Or simply no way that you have been able to find?  Other than
that, your answer was quite complete, presented well, and was the
