Creating Associations within MS Excel
Category: Computers > Software Rating and comments by: savemore-ga |
This worked like a dream and will save me hours, yes HOURS of work every month. One other nice feature is that it'll also provide me with an easy to extrapolate list of new accounts as well. Thank you huntsman-ga! |

Military ID number to locate someone in Israel
Category: Miscellaneous Rating and comments by: mskantor-ga |
Thank you for your excellent research. Your answer was prompt, respectful and professional and provided me with relevant information I was unable to find after searching the web for several hours. Your advice regarding contacting the organizations was well-informed and prudent. Now for the hard work---brushing up on my Hebrew! |

Finding an old Identi-Kit
Category: Miscellaneous Rating and comments by: lisarea-ga |
Beautiful work, Huntsman. Easily worth ten times the asking price. While this was not what I wanted to hear, at least now I can quit looking. And when I look back on all the time I've spent scouring the internet for one of these things, the service is invaluable. Now I have more time for my many other pointless pursuits. Thanks again! |

Aftermarket replacement automobile carpet
Category: Sports and Recreation > Automotive Rating and comments by: jason91si-ga |
The Researcher did a great job of providing resources for finding an aftermarket carpet. But, like myself, was unable to find any type of user reviews of different brands. Its quite possible it doesn't exist out there at this time. Great effort though. |

Historical Classified Ad -- Arctic Expedition Volunteers
Category: Reference, Education and News > General Reference Rating and comments by: godude-ga |
This is the first time I have used this search service. Your answer was *more* than I expected. While I had suspected that the ad text may be "urban legend" your answer clarifies that this is an open question. In fact, given the wealth of information you have found, I am now, frankly, embarrased that I could not find *anything* myself. My hat is tipped off to your "spelunking" skills. Thanks a lot. |

Lights near airports
Category: Science > Technology Rating and comments by: blazius-ga |
Your answer is likely to be correct, but I am unable to confirm that it is valid for the particular airport in question. I'have tried to get information on these lights from the norwegian CAA, but they have not given me an answer (so far). Any way, you have put so much effort in answering the question that you really deserve the lousy $5 I offered. I expected that the question would be quite easy, but understand that it was harder than I thought. |

Category: Computers > Hardware Rating and comments by: weisstho-ga |
Huntsman exhausted a large number of resources in helping with my question; and, the answer was logically presented and nicely written. Thanks, Huntsman. Also, the comment by deadlychiapet-ga was also right on the money, and very much appreciated. Thanks, too, deadlychiapet!! |

How do I do this in Excel?
Category: Computers > Software Rating and comments by: chanelops-ga |
This answer works, and I appreciate the trouble you went to to write the macro. However, I think the better solution is the one proposed by ulu -- just sort the data and toss the unwanted rows (which will then all be together). |

Obnoxiously Huge Web Sites wanted.
Category: Computers > Internet Rating and comments by: googlebrain-ga |
Mostly, these sites just had different versions of Big Downloads. I did quite like some of the stuff (TextArc, for instance was cool, but it seemed to be more processor intensive than bandwidth restricted) Everquest? I've been playing that on a 56k modem for over a year. DSL adds nothing. University of Rochester? Did you even read this page? It's for their Live streaming webcast of their commencement ceremony. It took place on May 19th. It's not even archived on the site. Honestly, I didn't expect someone who DIDN'T have a fast connection to attempt this question. Obviously I should have specified. |

faux "stainless" appliances?
Category: Family and Home > Home Rating and comments by: stevemadere-ga |
My question was really about how to *avoid* faux stainless steel rather than an appeal for sources of fake stuff. I was actually asking for a warning list of companies that sell "stainless looking" appliances that are not really staineless steel so I would know what to *avoid*. |
