I had actually done all you mentioned. A service repairmen in my area
has the manual for my TV but he wanted to charge me too much labor as
far as I was concerned. I have ordered the part and have it. I wanted
to do the work myself, this is why I asked the WHERE question. Thanks

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. One clarification:
We both met on-line and so we don't have a long history of friendship
so I think she would understand if I chose to walk away... That being
said, THANK YOU for helping me understand the impact the divorce had
on her.  Not having gone through one myself, I think I end up
underestimating the impact. So, your advice is helpful.  I think I'm
going to try to be her friend in the most open handed way possible. 
Of course, I don't know the outcome, but since I can't control it
anyway, I'm going to focus on those things I can control and move on
(at least emotionally).   Oh if I could only "fast forward" my life a
year to look back and see what happens!  Thanks again nenna!  - Brian

I may have to rephrase my question.  I obviously didn't make it clear
to nenna-ga what I was looking for.  I have seen topographical maps
and have never seen one with town, range, section numbers and quarter
sectons like what you would find in a Michigan plat book.  I need this
to convert gps readings to aliquat locations.  A typical aliquat
location would be as follows:  The northwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 19, Town 34 north, Range 7
west.

I don't even care about elevation.  Have no need for topography.

I knew this wouldnt have a "its black or white" answer, so the info
you
sent is as good as I think it could possibly be! The arguments FOR it
being
true (watches can stop when worn) herein seem more convincing to me
then the
arguments given for it being false, quackery, etc.  Body magnetics may
be a
lot more "powerful and present" than we think, and if so, some people
have
strong magnetic "aura" others none at all; a small battery could be
affected
by a little bit of magnetics I guess- the part about shorting out
light switches.....well, that I might have to see!  thanx!  excellent.

Given that this seems to be a very competitive business you have done
a great job to get anything out of them at all. The numbers are higher
than I expected even when taking some sampling error into account. The
company we chose for inbound calls converted only 30% of the calls!
Also the links you provided were new to me apart from the dialamerica
one. That will give me an opportunity to test another company. Thanks
