You do good work PoliticalGuru.  You dont have to agree with me to
earn my 5 stars.  You are right most of my questions are moot and ment
to provoke comments especially by the but of my contentions, rather
than formal researched answers, but I likr your style.  watch for my

Thanks for the info. BTW - another option that I just thought of was
to take an extra suitcase on the plane. Trans-atlantic flight for 3
people allows 6 suitcases, and we pay around $90 for checking in an
extra suitcase (upto 32KG), which is cheaper than all the other
options.

I appreciate your notes on the emotional aspects of moving, but as my
clarification mentions - we are going *back* to Israel. Going back to
our home that we miss dearly.

Thanks for a well-documented and interesting reply.  I confess that it
was more of a musing on a subject than something I was emotionally
involved in. And in fact, I thought of that GBS doggerel as soon as I
thought about "why is my spam only in English."  That was while I was
driving home; when I get home, what is playing on the stereo but My

I am pleased to convey me extreme regard for the tougher research
standard that was so evidently displayed is your response to my
question on mining in Antarctica.
You addresed some of the key issues that I had already explored and
also developed some new avenues of thought.  The claims you
highlighted, that had been put forward by U.S. officials were of great
assistance.  I think the issue of such an august treaty member
queering the merits and strengh of the treaty so strongly, begs the
question of whether the treaty has true backing.  You addressed many
of the crucial points regarding mounting a credible case, on why the
ban should be lifted.

Thanks politicalguru for your very prompt reply.  I anticipated that
internet cafes would be the best means of staying connected but had
also hoped that other options may be emerging.  For example, do any
hotels offer internet access and if so how difficult would it be to
use a PDA to access?
