Thanks both to the official researcher of my question as well as to
the individuals who were kind enough to share their wisdom through the
comments.  I am amazed at the amount of information that I have
received through this one question.  Although I am a complete "babe in
the woods" with regard to all of this publishing stuff, I already feel

I need to try out the responses received from morris-ga, which have
been the most helpful of all responses received so far.  My 4-star
rating of morris-ga is therefore provisional, but I'm happy to make
the required payment only to him and to none of the other responders
(who failed to provide as much helpful detail as morris-ga).  I would
like to be able to contact him by e-mail (I would like to know what it
is) for later clarifications on this particular question.  Does this
conflict with the way in which your Answer system works (and which
seems to be a most impressive facility)?  Les Hall

The question was not answered. I was pointed to various publications,
most of which I have so I can only assume the question was too
sophisticated.

Sorry for not getting back sooner, I was in a car crash and have been
in hospital. Thanks for the answer it was great and the comments
wonderful too.

You confirmed what I have already discovered through my own internet
searches, but did it in much less time and also added a follow-up
suggestion for a contact that could be helpful in the development of

Answer is on point as to whether or not it is an actual place, but
unresponsive as to how it received its name.  In all fairness, I said
that I would perhaps like these details, so, it's a good answer, but
it would have been great with that little extra.  I'll need to find
out the rest on my own or submit another question.

Hi - I admire the way that you worked toegther to produce such a
sublime result. Of course, when I realised that morris's message was
the decrypting key for the answer, held in philipp's message, I was
delighted.
Especially, as England were always my favourites to win too - Thanks
guys for  not letting the cat out of the bag - I couldn't have got
such good odds if you'd just come out and said it plain and simple!!
