The research did not cover the bicycle powered lighter-than-air
flights, but the information sources on other aspects of the question
were quite good. I'm
still looking for information on those record setting flights.

Quick response, covered the point pretty well. Rather vague about

As I wished, "Bcguide" has answered my question with an exhaustive
list, which includes the "Cola producers". This will alllow me to

Yeah, I found that data shortly after I posted the question.  Oh well.
 Now, notice that the 1971 to 2000 data is averaged in year blocks
(ie: 42-00, or 71-00) and not individual years as I asked.  The other
data though is precisely what i asked for.

doesn't lead to the answer I was interested in (an upcoming course in
NYC) but rather to a course offered in Baltimore.

Didn't exactly solve my problem, but demonstrated that there isn't any
easy solution.  Pointed me to a private vendor who has since offered
to do the work for roughly $1000, which appears to be reasonable. 
Google-answers was clearly worth the effort and the $20.50 it cost. 
I'd have awarded FIVE stars (instead of four) for the full answer. 
Too much to ask for, I suppose, but there's no harm in it.

I'll definitely be back with more questions.
