For years, I've poured over articles seeking insight and help. I have
been to counseling, only to hear "Well, just as gays are gay, you
simply have a preference that's all." Hardly... In then end, it took a

Even though Anne-Marie is not fully sorted, I must thank you for

I have had a quick look at your clarifications and I think you have
done enough.  There seems to be no obvious solution and that it why I
failed to find it myself.  Unfortunately a lot of the proprietary
products seem to be on US websites and I live in Ireland (I'll know to
put my location on future questions) but the general advice on
soundproofing.org seems good an concise.

SUPERB solution for what I needed -- you're right, this is even better
than what I originally used on Internet Explorer.  Great work,

Hi cynthia!

Boy, some of these look like fun, but I don't want to spend the money
to buy a map . . . and Keyhole looks the most intereting but it only
works for Windows (I'm a Mac).  Anyway, I did find a fairly good one
on Topozone, at least it indicated roughly what we were looking for .
. . after the SE Asia tsunami we're having a neighborhood discussion
about what would happen if . . . who would get it and who wouldn't,
etc, etc.  Interesting stuff.  Thanks!
