Thanks for your answer. Your friend California too. 1992 was year for
Euthanasia and Dr. Kavorkian. Father's last Dr. was prison Dr, no
affiliation with hospital and picketed for Euthanasia, had lost
license for prescribing illegal Demerol to drug addict and caused wife
death in ca. He is practicing in this neighborhood again. Still had
license in Georgia. Our institutions no longer represent american
people's wishes.

Wow! Great answer! I'm doing a project for school and this is very
helpful. Sorry I took so long to respond, but I was expecting an
email...I didn't even know the answer was here and stumbled across it
by accident.

This is a truly excellent answer.  I had no idea that they not even
managed to coax visible light out of it yet.  It seems to me as though
Sandia may have given a somewhat misleading impression.  You have
fully set my personal  curiosity at rest as to why lamps with these
filaments are not in the shops.  Thanks for alll th links.

Although this researcher tried, s/he did not answer my question at
all, which was to provide an initialisation string to limit the *fax*
speed of the modem. The suggestions to alter the port speed in
Windows, and the init strings found in the forum, have no bearing on
fax transmit or receive speeds; the forum page didn't even contain the
word "fax". The advice to buy a new modem is not really what I was
looking for, although I accept it may well be the best course of
action. I would have preferred this researcher to have not attempted
to answer something they clearly didn't know about so that another
researcher might have had the opportunity to find me an initialisation
string to try.

that is a great answer!  and you were correct, the position we are
interviewing for does NOT setup new servers, only maintains them.  as
installing new ones is the role of the next higher position.  i was
thinking about that as i wrote the question, but forgot to include it.

and i dont think you'd want to work for our district. sure the
benefits are good, but the pay isnt great, and theres alot of
politics. but http://www.laccd.edu/PersComm/ is where you'd go to sign
