Category: Arts and Entertainment > Music Rating and comments by: tonysweden-ga |
Bravo ! Not only is Google.com the defacto leader for accurate web searching, but I am now an amazed and most satisfied new customer of your researching project. I am indebted to you, 'leep', for the detail and content of your very fast answer which was 100% accurate; it was indeed Koyaanisqatsi that I has seen and admired so much. I am also happy to see that you used the expression: "The great music . . ." we are obviously of the same opinion. Please find a small token of my thanks; I hope that in the future it will be possible to direct questions to such dedicated researchers as yourself leep. ( now I have run out of superlatives . . ) CU Tony Kvarnstrom - Sweden |

Movie Quote - Sid and Nancy
Category: Arts and Entertainment > Movies and Film Rating and comments by: kaiserwilhelm-ga |
No, Mom, we don't need any ssshhheeets! Sid, this is a serious f#ck up! Wow, can I give six stars? This is EXACTLY why I love Google Answers. Even with our answer and the fact that I AM WRONG about what it said and the better half is correct, I can still be one happy camper! I really appreciate the clarifications from one researcher and the question of whether I should rent the DVD. I have rented it (non Criterion edition) and it did not have sub titles. I know to you this is minor, but to my wife and I this was a serious question. I cannot tell you how many times we paused the stupid VCR ('89 you know) to try and figure it out. I STILL say, "hey Malc you're wealthy" would have fit as well! So, thank you. Just for fun, it seems that maybe you might be into the same genre of films that I am. My list (exluding Sid and Nancy) would have to be Cinema Paradiso, Legend of 1900, Immortal Beloved (Gary Oldman) and of course, Jesus Christ Superstar (2002 version). Of course, when you meet your wife at the Rocky Horror Picture Show, who knows. |

get some text files from Apple //e disks
Category: Computers > Hardware Rating and comments by: mxnmatch-ga |
Thanks! I didn't know about the Apple IIgs method. I just purchased an Apple IIgs on ebay which has 3.5" and 5.25" drives. I'm assuming that "Mac HFS" disks can be read by any present day Mac that has a 3.5" drive. Is that true? Does the Apple IIgs have a hard drive? If not than what software would I need to copy files from the 5.25" to the 3.5" drive? Can I use any 3.5" disks (for instance, unformatted 3.5" disks that I still have for my PC) and format them on the IIgs? Thanks! Maybe I'll be able to get those files now. |
