Very nice answer. Now we have an idea of the problem, but it's not
completely solved.

daveslipp, great stuff thank you.  A couple of clarifications would be
helpful.  Did past emails import from outlook?  I've got a couple of
years worth, about 700k file, any thoughts on does this work ok to
import? With regard to the Mac to PC move, it's the data move i'm
after experiences on rather than the upgrade cost/policy - any help
here?
And lastly, as you seem to know so much on this,  are you good for
FileMaker questions. Some of these coming up soon too.
