Thanks for the prompt results.  

A fair amount of this answer was based on information found at
www.webdevelopersjournal.com.  A quick look at this site indicates
that nothing has been updated there for a *very* long time, as their
"New and Cool" page show product versions that are 3-4 years old!  In
this business, that is *forever*.  I dismissed any information based
on their reviews as being obsolete.

The information based on the www.tucows.com  and
www.softwarejunkies.com sites seem to be more timely.  Several
programs listed there look quite usable, though it will take some time
to download them and judge.

The Homesite software might be interesting, as it is now owned by
Macromedia who also owns Dreamweaver.  I just checked, and I see that
I have a gratis copy of Homesite on my Dreamweaver MX CD.  (It is
version 5.1, not version 4.0 as www.webdevelopersJournal.com reviewed)

The opinions on the FrontPage product seem to be based on good logic,
and I certainly need to give that product another consideration.  The
amount of training and support that is available for that product
might be the overwhelming factor.  (I really dread having to install
the frontpage extensions on the server though.)  I think our local
community college offers a course for Frontpage.  If so, that will be
a huge factor in the decision of which product to recommend.

I am extremely pleased with the promt response. Being a slow typer and
a novice, it will take me  a little time to go through the suggestions
but i agree with you that I probably do not need a driver, thanks a

Dear Clouseau: Thank you for another excellent response.  In looking
at the links provided, I was most interested in the “OPEC seminar” by
Jean Laherrere.   Put that together with the other information and the
bottom line is:  We are getting close!   In America today, everything
is of the moment, right now, overnight.  One of the reports talks
about “The 100-year reign of King Oil.” The preponderance of the
information indicates a peak in oil production sometime before 2020
and some saying as soon as 2004!  Food for thought indeed!   Thank you
again!

The only problem with answer is when i went to Symantic to find out
about ACT, they either don't make it anymore or???? in any case the
answers from clouseau and hummer were more than satisfactory,

I am a fan of Google Answer; even when I don't get the precise advice,
there's usually good clues. But every time, I get confused about where
I go to ask for clarifation or to post ratings. Could you put the
boxes/directions at the bottom of the exchange?
