Will I receive anything for my answers in Google Answers?
To express Google's gratitude for the tremendous contributions and
dedication of Google Researchers to Google Answers over the
years, Google Researchers will receive a share of the AdSense
revenue generated by questions they've already answered. However, Google
reserves the right to discontinue this benefit at any time for any reason.
What information will I need to sign up for this program?
You will need your Google Answers account login and AdSense
account publisher ID. If you don't have an AdSense account
and publisher ID, you can sign up for one at
http://google.com/adsenseapply.
As part of the sign up process, you will also need to provide the
url address of a blog or website you own. If you don't have a
website, you can create a blog at www.blogger.com or
website at pages.google.com. However, Google
reserves the right to discontinue this benefit at any time for any reason.

of the question price for the answer you provided.
How do I sign up for AdSense?
Go to the Google
AdSense home page, and click "Click Here to Apply".
You will need the url address of a blog or website you own.
If you don't have a blog or website, you can create a blog at blogger.com or website at pages.google.com. Complete
and submit your application, and check for an email from us
to verify your email address. Once you verify your email
address, we'll review your application and follow up with
you via email within 2-3 days. If we approve your
application, you'll be able to log in to your AdSense
account and get started. Once you have your AdSense publisher
ID, log in to Google Answers, go to the Profile tab, click
"Edit Mailing Address", and fill it in.
What if I already have an AdSense account? Can I use the same
account for this?
Yes.
Can I change my publisher ID?
Yes - you can change your publisher ID at any time.
Will I only receive money from clicks on ads that display for
questions that I answered?
Yes, you'll be eligible to receive a share of the ad revenue only
from ad clicks on pages where you provided the final answer. However,
Google reserves the right to discontinue this benefit at any time for any
reason.
Will researchers get a higher revenue share from AdSense than
other publishers?
No - researchers will be treated the same as other content publishers.
How much will I earn? Won't it be much smaller than what I made
with Answers?
Possibly; the point of this program is to thank you for your
contributions to Google Answers by offering you additional
revenue beyond what you've already been paid. However, Google reserves
the right to discontinue this benefit at any time for any reason.
Will I get the same cut as researchers who typically made
more/less than me on Answers?
The revenue you may receive from this program will be independent of what
you earned in the past. The amount will depend entirely on how often
people click on ads on pages where you provided the final
answer. However, Google reserves the right to discontinue this benefit
at any time for any reason.
Will I get paid for past clicks to my completed answer that
generated ad revenue for Google?
No - you have already been paid in full for your completed answer. We
are sharing the ad revenue now to express our gratitude for
your tremendous contributions and dedication to Google
Answers over the years. However, Google reserves the right to discontinue
this benefit at any time for any reason.
Can I publish an article or otherwise make public statements about my
experience with Google Answers?
Google must review all public statements or copy (press articles,
web copy, etc) regarding Google Answers and/or
your experience as a Researcher before it is published. If a
Researcher publishes an article prior to receiving approval from
Google, their privileges may be
revoked. If you have questions on this policy please write to answers-support@google.com.
