There is a quote that appears in two albums:
Propellerheads - Decksdrumsandrockandroll and
Lovage - Music to Make Love to your Old Lady By

The quote goes something like: "I revolve around music"

What is the origin of that quote?

More: Propellerheads:
All the people I know are musicians.
I revolve around music, it's all I know.

More: Lovage
Tea Time with Maseo
Cause music is my whole life
I took singing lessons, guitar lessons
Dancing lessons, tap dancing lessons
I tried to learn how to play the drums
I took piano lessons, I... I revolve around music
And the people associated with it
And that means all the cute boys

Are these "quotes" samples from the same source, as far as you can
tell, or are they just spoken/sung/rapped by Propellerheads and
Lovage?

These vocal samples are from an audio documentary called "The
Groupies", produced by Alan Lorber. The piece was released as Earth
Records ELPS-1000 in 1969. It is copyright Iris Productions.

According to Stephane Rebeschini:

"Subtitled "The girls heard on this record report their actual life
experiences, feelings and opinions within the pop music scene", this
album is a documentary about the groupies, produced by Alan Lorber,
the man behind the Boss-Town sound (Chameleon Church, Puff, Ultimate
Spinach) and Robert "Bobby" Callender. It doesn't contain music, only
spoken vocals with some sound effects and came with an insert which is
interesting for its glossary, with the definitions of "stoned", "out
of it", "plaster casters" plus many other "in" or crude expressions."

There are some very nice user-contributed sites that list samples used
in music (usually, sampled from movies or other musicians' work)...

http://www.sloth.org/samples/samples.html

http://www.members.accessus.net/~xombi/intro.html

Unfortunately, the 'I revolve around music' bit is not part of any of
these sites. If you ever find the reference (I hope you will!), don't
forget that submitting your discovery to those sites may help future
searchers... :-)

According to a review I read at the time of the Propellerheads' album
release, it's a clip of a groupie from the 1960's Haight-Ashbury
scene. However, there wasn't any info as to where the clip originated
(film, documentary, interview).
