Question ID: 100888
What is the best or industry standard way of simulating a standard
POTS Subscriber Local Loop, in software(i.e. Matlab/simulink or
related tool). I'm looking for a detailed model that accounts for
distortion such as propogation delay, EDD and or phase distrotion,
etc... I'm not as concerned with the crosstalk issues as I would be
happy just to figure out a good model for a single isolated circuit
that accepts real input and outputs real output.
Most available materials refer to hardware or abstract mathematical
descriptions which are not easy to distill.
