I have a tape, which has now gone bad.  It's title is Dance 97,
nothing else.
Below is every marking on both sides of the tape.  I'm looking to
purchase this album as a CD but I can't seem to find it.  The tracks
are unfortunately not listed on the tape it self.  The tape was
originally picked up in Paris.

I've tried CDNOW, Amazon, and even generic searches on Google.  I'm
not convinced that the Dance 97 - Best of, or Ultimate Dance 97, or
Dance Mix 1997 are what I'm looking for.  The tape only has Dance 97,
nothing else.  Additionally, the above title's i've mentioned do not
match up with the correct Label, Polygram.

Afraid not.  My gf through out the case and the songs aren't printed
on the table.  The tape is mostly french with some english.

Thanks for the attempt, Bobbie, but I'm not convinced that's the right
one.  I've added a clarification.  Iota.

Just a quick note: PolyGram was bought out by Universal Music Group
and I believe Podis is also currently under Universal Music Group. I
think you will probably have to contact them to get that kind of
information.

So far so good.  At first glance, that's the closest I've seen to it;
however, they don't list the publisher info.  I'll call and inquire
this week and see if it is indeed podis/universal.

espresso, I still plan on trying to followup with Rockhouse this week
(Rockhouse is selling through gemm), but Rockhouse doesn't have very
good reviews on Gemm, nor do they really have it it stock.

I'm not going to rule them out, especially if it really is the cd, but
do you happen to know any other sources?

Nope..Only English.  I'll try and run it through Babelfish and see if
it'll do the translations, but typically e-commerce sites don't
usually work all the way through.

If this is it, let me know if you need assistance ordering it.  My
husband and cousin both speak french.

I believe both sites you provided contain the CD I'm looking for.  I
went ahead and ordered it from Rockhouse (via Gemm) and I'll give them
a shot first, since they provide a e-commerce site in English and ship
to the IS that I can actually order from.  Perhaps if that doesn't
work out, I'll take you up on the assitance from the other site;
however, I did some French-English translations and I don't believe
they mention anywhere about shipping to the US.
