Kevc,

After trouble-shooting 5 non-working printers in the past week, I can
say that printers are the most troublesome computer equipment I've
come across. You're not the only one who has had that particular
problem with your printer either.

In these forums others have had the same problems.

The suggestion is to try out HP's official help on this error here:

http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/get_doc.pl?SNI=dj712c&LC=printers&Tfile=npd09208

That page has step by step help to fix the problem.

"Introduction

When printing to the HP Deskjet 710c, 720c and 820c printers the error
HPFVLS13 may appear on your computer screen. It will print if the
error is ignored."

If you don't want to click ignore every time just to print, then you
can disable the bi-directional communication option between your
printer and computer. (This means your printer wont be able to "tell"
the computer how far its printed, its status or anything like that but
it will still print correctly without loss of quality just as it would
have before and possibly not have this error every time you print.)

Also HP suggests that it may be a conflict with the Juno internet
program and can be fixed by downgrading the version of Juno that is
used.

If you don't use Juno you can skip that part.

Also this page from HP:

http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/get_doc.pl?SNI=dj712c&LC=printers&Tfile=bpd04993

shows how to stop the error message about "Incorrect Installation" of
printer cartridges. A user mentioned that his printer had your error
message after changing printer cartridges.

I hope this information helps alleviate your problem. Please "Request

anything is unclear before you rate this answer and I will happily
oblige.
