Hello stephenklo-ga,
You havent responded to my request for clarification to help me
understand better the specific kind of company, industry or job you
would prefer. Ive collected a lot of generic resources to help you
get started. You should use these mainly to get yourself oriented to
the kinds of things that are available to help the job seeker.
Unfortunately, there are no short cuts especially not in todays
tough job market. It's hard work to find a job.
You can use some standard techniques that will greatly enhance the
probability of success in your job search.
First, complete your self-assessment to identify your skills, values,
interests, preferences and experience. Get very clear about who you
are, what kinds of places you want to work and why those companies
would find you interesting.
Second, explore what the world of work has to offer. Investigate the
industries and companies youve found interesting. Find out about
trends, movers and shakers, current developments in your field of
expertise. Educate yourself so you will be able to demonstrate your
understanding of the current business climate for your targeted
companies. Investigate what industries/companies would be especially
impressed with your bilingual skills.
Third, launch your job search campaign. Write your resume and develop
your elevator speech. Develop targeted lists of employers and talk to
everyone you know to get personal connections and a way to network
your way in to the hiring manager. Practice your interview skills.
Find a job search support group. Treat your job search as a job.
Wishing you success in your career.
