What are three top tennis camps for me? Here are the constraints: I want to
go for a long weekend (leave on a Friday night, return on a Monday night, and
I'd like to be able to get in a full day of tennis on the Monday). I live in
New York City. I'm planning to go some weekend in May. I'd like a camp in an
attractive location. I'd like the program to be heavy on instruction. I'm an
adult (36) and I'd like the other participants to be also. I play at an
advanced-intermediate level. I am flexible about the cost of the camp, but I'd
rather not pay an exhorbitant amount to travel there (i.e. total travel costs
<$500).

Each of the above schools has its own separate website with additional details
regarding cost, lodging, meals, etc. However, please note that I found the
most information by calling each of the schools.

Additional information regarding adult tennis camps can be found at:
http://tennis.shawguides.com/
This appears to be a fairly comprehensive guide to tennis camps located
throughout the US. You may also narrow your search requirements within this
site (e.g. adult camps located in the Northeast). Also, this site links to
Tennis Magazine’s Top 50 lists as well as pointers on how to prepare for tennis
camp.
The link to Tennis Magazine’s Top 50 Tennis Camps: Northeast/Canada is:

Please note that my research indicates that a number of schools run Friday
through Sunday and the lessons are progressive. Therefore, to add an
additional day onto an existing weekend program, you may be entering into a
group that has already had 3 or more hours of instruction. This may also
result in the Monday lesson being out of order (e.g. videotaping done on Monday
rather than the first day of class) or repetitive. Therefore, if you have any
flexibility regarding travel days, you may want to consider Thursday to Sunday
as your long weekend.

I found this information by using the search terms

adult tennis camp new york city
adult tennis camps northeast

George, I hope you find this information useful and enjoy tennis camp!
