Hi there,

It is impossible for a researcher to find a definitive answer as to
why your site has been removed from the Google index - only a Google
engineer could tell you, and I believe they have a policy of not
disclosing such reasons. But I can give you an educated guess...

Your site is very nice, and you are obviously not selling anything,
and therefore not spamming. However, the Google software doesn't know
this.

I investigate many problems similar to yours, and lately most cases
have something in common - they have been promoting their sites using
link farms or free link exchanges. Swapping links with another website
is a good promotional technique, but when the Google software believes
it is happening in an automated way, it can penalise the sites
involved. This seems to be happening a lot lately.

Google's information for webmasters includes:

- DON'T participate in link exchanges for the sole purpose of
increasing your ranking in search engines.

By searching for your site's name I found it linked to from the
following sites which might be considered to be "link farms":

http://83980.83.links4trade.com/links.html
http://27769.27.links4trade.com/links.html

http://www.utamaduni.dk/entertainment06.htm
http://californiaexcitement.com/entertainment06.htm
http://www.clik2win.com/other09.htm

The other are from the first 30 results - there are more.

You might ask why your site has been picked on, when others using
these schemes are still in the Google index. I don't know, but I guess
that either Google is only checking a few sites at a time, or perhaps
it looks at ratios of links that point to sites (the percentage that
are link exchanges, the percentage that have high Page Rank etc), and
selected your site based on a ratio. My gut instinct is that they have
randomly picked a small percentage of sites in the Google index that
use link exchanges, removed them, and are watching to see what
happens.

Remedy
------

1) Remove all links to and from link trading schemes.
2) Re-submit your site to Google.
3) Wait 2 months (or until the Google index has updated twice) and if
it still doesn't appear, email Google at help@google.com and explain
your situation and ask if you can be reinstated.

You could also email them before waiting, although I am unaware if
this speeds the process up.
