Soled,

The National Weather Service considers the flood level of the
Mississippi river to be 30 feet in St. Louis, with 36.9 feet being the
level it is predicted to reach one per decade. That level has been
reached only three times between 1988 through 1995. The times the
level has reach 30.0 feet or more between 1988 and 1995 are:

   May 18-21, 29-30, June 23-29 1990
   Dec 18-19, 1992
   April 11-May 24, June 26th-Oct 7th, 1993 (Including a high of
49.58 feet on 8/1, the highest level it has ever been recorded at)
   April 13-18, May 2-4, 1994 (a high of 36.6 feet on 4/15, the 10th
highest ever)
   May 11-June 19, 1995 (including a high of 41.89 feet on 5/22, the
4th highest it has ever been at)
