In the original design of the F-16, micro chips had only a few
circuits and were looking for applications. Likely several hundred
micro chips have been added to F16 s in the past decade or so, as part
of various retro fit programs, so the number varies from one group of
F-16s to an other and is likely classified information.   Neil
