Since he left Rage Against the Machine in October 2000 (
http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1433539/10182000/rage_against_the_machine.jhtml
), Zack de la Rocha has been busy.

He has been working on a solo album, recently with the assistance of
Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails:

He recorded a track with Chuck D for a Mumia Abu-Jamal album, and
celebrated the decision to give Abu-Jamal a new sentencing hearing:

"De La Rocha, More Contribute To Mumia Abu-Jamal's Third LP"
(05.22.2001)
MTV
http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1443966/20010522/story.jhtml

He was a guest on the Blackalicious debut album, Broken Arrow:

MTV
http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1452688/03012002/blackalicious.jhtml

He has apparently been approached to record a track for The Matrix
Reloaded (which makes sense, because The Matrix ended with a Rage
track):

"Matrix producers approach acts for soundtrack" (21st October 2002)
Ananova
http://www.ananova.com/entertainment/story/sm_693947.html

He signed the Not In Our Name Petition against a war in Iraq:

LAUNCH

And (strange but true), he attended a Rolling Stones theatre concert
in Los Angeles.

Yeah, I guess I'm a fan. I have only one RATM album now, but I'll
probably get another one. I'm really curious to see what the solo
album sounds like. And I admire de la Rocha's commitment to political
causes.

Dear Scott,
Thanks a bunch, man. Are you a fan of Zach de la Rocha yourself?
