Windows XP closes nework connections as soon as the network becomes unavailable. This is somewhat annoying for regular ethernet (you unplug the cable and everything breaks) but it is very annoying with wireless since it is not uncommon for the wireless link to momentarily disappear because I moved the computer or something. Typically the network comes back within a few seconds so it is really dumb to close all the network connections. My question is this: How do I stop XP from doing this? The correct answer should be simple and easy for me (change some registry setting or something). "Not possible" is not a correct answer. Thanks | |
