Dear torrie,

The exact title of the song you have in mind way "Angie The Christmas
Tree Angel", sometimes referred to as "Christmas Tree Angel" only. It
was written by M.K. Jerome and Jack Scholl and recorded by the Andrews
Sisters in 1950.

Unfortunately, there seems not to be a tape featuring this song. But
it is included in a CD, available from Amazon.com: "A Merry Christmas
with Bing Crosby & The Andrews Sisters", available for $10.98:

Hi torrie,

I think I've found you a source (A Cappella Online Buyers Club). It
isn't a single release, however; it's on a CD titled 'A Merry
Christmas with Bing Crosby & The Andrew Sisters.' I realize you'd
prefer a taped version and if I run across one, I'll let you know.

I'll bet this is a great album -- how can you go wrong with Bing
Crosby teaming up with the Andrew Sisters, eh?

Good luck,
